About Us
The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has committed significant funding to support the development of a vibrant biotechnology industry in South Africa.
The South African National Biotechnology Strategy has resulted in the establishment of Cape Biotech Trust, the Biotechnology Regional Innovation Centre (BRIC) for the Western Cape.
VISION
To facilitate and invest in the development of a regionally focused, nationally integrated and world renowned Biotech economy, by focusing on select market offerings that create significant and sustainable economic and social value for South Africa.
