Acorn Technologies is a business and technology incubator, created in 2002 as part of the Government's Godisa Programme. Its focus is on the life sciences sector.

WHAT WE DO?
The underlying driver of Acorn Technologies' activities is the creation of new enterprises in life sciences - via the commercialisation of technology or concepts that are novel, patentable, and globally competitive. In turn, new enterprise creation should cascade into imperatives shared by the life sciences sector and national government: job creation, human capital development, greater contribution to foreign revenues and GDP (by the life sciences sector), and a better return on basic research at HTE institutions' (including resultant IP).
